The collaborative platform Design Emergency was created by MoMA design curator Paola Antonelli and design critic Alice Rawsthorn, with the goal of exploring 'the role of design in shaping a better future.' What began as an informal Instagram live series at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic has now evolved into a project that serves as an influential voice in the world of design, including both a book and podcast. Names like Mae-ling Lokko, Fabrizio Urretini, Julia Watson, Slava Balbek, Deema Assaf, Fernando Laposse and many, many others.
